Terms of use
These terms describe the basic rules for using The Approach Shot during beta. They are practical product terms and should be reviewed by counsel before a broader commercial launch.
Informational planning product
The Approach Shot helps golfers research destinations, compare tradeoffs, and plan better trips. The site is not a travel agency, booking engine, financial advisor, legal advisor, or guarantee of any tee time, rate, lodging, package, course condition, policy, or availability.
Verify before booking
Golf travel changes. Rates, access rules, tee times, renovation schedules, closures, weather, maintenance conditions, resort policies, and package terms should be verified directly with the course, resort, lodging provider, travel partner, or booking provider before you spend money.
AI guidance
AI features are designed to give useful planning guidance, not final authority. AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing recommendations, checking source pages, and making your own booking decisions.
Member and beta tools
Current member/profile and save/share features are beta tools. They may rely on local browser storage and may not provide permanent cloud-backed accounts, backups, or cross-device syncing.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive volume, upload malicious content, reverse engineer private systems, or use AI tools to generate unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or rights-violating material.
Third-party links
The site may link to courses, resorts, lodging providers, maps, booking providers, affiliate partners, and other third parties. We are not responsible for third-party sites, prices, policies, content, or transactions.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is and as-available. We try to be accurate, useful, and honest, but we do not promise the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or current in every detail.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves, especially as The Approach Shot adds fuller account, database, newsletter, contact, affiliate, or booking-partner workflows.
